This is an earlier model from the original K series, featuring the large striped K logo and the simple “Custom Dry” designation. Compared to the later K Custom Dry rides, these first-generation examples tend to sound rawer, darker and more organic, with less of the polished, refined character associated with the later K Custom line.

At 2898g, this example offers exceptional stick definition, a controlled, woody wash and a powerful yet musical bell. A fantastic choice for jazz, fusion, funk, studio work or anyone looking for that classic dry K sound from the transition period between the vintage K era and the modern K Custom family.
