The K Custom Session series represents a distinctive chapter in Zildjian’s history. Designed around Gadd’s preference for warm, controlled and exceptionally musical cymbals, these models were created with professional recording and live performance in mind.

Now discontinued, the Session series has become particularly interesting to drummers looking for its unique combination of dark K Custom character, smooth response and controlled projection.

The 16” Session Crash delivers a warm, dark and slightly dry voice, with a soft, buttery attack and beautifully balanced decay. It opens up effortlessly at lower dynamics while retaining enough presence for expressive accents.

Unlike brighter, more aggressive crashes, this cymbal blends naturally into the music, making it an excellent choice for jazz, fusion, soul, pop and studio work.
