14” × 5” Rogers Dynasonic Chrome over Brass Snare [1970s]

A beautiful vintage Rogers Dynasonic from the legendary Big R era, featuring the highly regarded chrome over brass shell and Rogers’ ingenious floating snare rail system. The Dynasonic is one of the most distinctive American snare drums ever produced. Its innovative snare mechanism allows the wires to respond with exceptional sensitivity without being pulled tightly against the resonant head. The result? A wonderfully crisp, articulate and remarkably sensitive snare with a bright, musical crack, excellent projection and plenty of vintage character. This particular example features the classic Big R badge, elegant chrome finish and original-style hardware. The shell presents beautifully, with a lovely shine and only minor signs of age. • Size: 14” × 5” • Brand: Rogers USA • Model: Dynasonic • Era: Big R, approximately late 1970s • Shell: Chrome over brass • Finish: Chrome • Original-style floating snare rail system • Classic Rogers lugs and hardware • Sound: Crisp, bright, sensitive and articulate • Condition: Excellent vintage appearance A true American snare drum classic, equally at home in a vintage collection, recording studio or behind a working drummer. 📍 Try or pick up in Zuid-Scharwoude (NL) 📦 Worldwide insured shipping available 🔁 Trade-ins welcome – vintage Zildjian cymbals, Remo Rototoms & copper/bronze/brass snare drums 💬 Yes, we speak Hollands, too 🌐 www.dropshopdrums.nl DropShop Drums FOR & BY EAR & EYE #rogersdrums #dynasonic #vintagesnare #chromeoverbrass #dropshopdrums
