22” Zildjian A Ping Ride – Pre-Serial (3514g)

A true heavyweight from the sought-after pre-serial era. This 22” A Ping Ride delivers everything the name promises: crystal-clear stick definition, a powerful bell and enough projection to cut through the loudest stage mixes.

At 3514g, this is a serious rock, fusion and big-band ride with virtually unlimited headroom. Despite its weight, it retains the musical shimmer and complexity that make vintage pre-serial Avedis cymbals so desirable.

Often associated with the late-’70s and early-’80s sound, this is exactly the type of ride heard in the era of drummers such as Vinnie Colaiuta, where clarity and articulation were essential.
