19” Zildjian K Kerope [2021] 1554g

A beautifully lightweight and wonderfully expressive Zildjian K Kerope, weighing just 1554g. An unusual and sought-after size, combining the warmth and complexity of a vintage-inspired ride with the effortless response of a thin crash.

Named after Kerope Zildjian, this prestigious series pays tribute to the legendary old Turkish K cymbals. Traditional hammering, fine lathing and a beautifully aged finish give these instruments their distinctive dark, rich and organic character.

At just 1554g, this particular example offers a soft, woody stick response, a beautifully warm wash and exceptional crashability. Delicate and controlled when played lightly, yet capable of opening up into a rich, complex explosion of sound.

A fantastic left-side ride, expressive crash or even a compact main ride for jazz, acoustic music and smaller ensembles.
