A genuinely unique Zildjian Sound Lab Prototype from [2017], identified by the AG laser serial and hand-marked “K X-THIN CRASH” underneath the bell. This is not a regular production model, but an experimental cymbal from Zildjian’s Sound Lab.

At only 1130g, this 17” is exceptionally thin. Extensive hammering, fine lathing and the darker bell give it a distinctly K-style character: quick, dark, responsive and beautifully crashable.
